Pricing:

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT where applicable, and expressed in pounds sterling; Delivery charges are extra and are quoted to the customer during the ordering process.

P&P charges quoted are for delivery to UK Mainland only; deliveries outside UK Mainland may incur an additional charge; please contact us for a quotation.

Tackanory reserves the right to Discount or Increase prices due to market forces, without prior notification; customers will be charged the price current at time of order.

Delivery:

Goods charged by credit or debit card are normally dispatched within 24 hours, subject to availability. Goods paid for by any other means will be dispatched on Tackanory being advised by their bankers that funds have cleared. Delivery will be made to the delivery address provided by the user. Once goods have been delivered to you or your nominated recipient, Tackanory will not be liable for their subsequent loss or destruction. Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery. Forward ordered goods are dispatched immediately when they come into stock unless prior arrangements have been made. Full payment for goods is debited at the time of the first dispatch relating to the customer order. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that availability status of all items is clear, we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer of sale.

Please ensure that we have your full contact details to assist in delivery of your purchase; to this end, please ensure that your account details with Tackanory are kept up to date at all times.

Tackanory cannot be held liable for non-receipt of items where a customer has entered the wrong delivery details.

Customers who advise additional delivery details e.g. “leave around the back of the house,” do so at their own risk; only deliveries made according to our standard terms will be insured against non-delivery.

Returns Policy:

Under the terms of prevailing Distance Selling Regulations, all returns must be notified, in writing, within 7 days of delivery to:

All written notification must quote the unique order number.

Returned goods must be accompanied by the completed ‘Returns’ slip supplied with the invoice.

Goods must be returned within a ‘reasonable period’ according to prevailing Distance Selling Regulations; Tackanory deems 10 days to be a ‘reasonable period’.

The customer has a Statutory Duty under DSR to excercise due care of the goods in their posession; we respectfully request that goods are returned in a clean and saleable condition, with their original packaging. Removal of tags will be deemed to be acceptance of goods by the customer. In the case of Horse Rugs, please fit new rugs on top of a clean sheet, as they cannot be accepted for return if they are soiled in any way.

In the event that a customer returns goods in an unacceptable state it is Tackanory's policy to issue court proceedings in line with DSR to recover the cost of the goods plus permitted costs.

For reasons of safety, Equine wares are designed to rip or snap should they become entangled with sharp or protruding objects, horses feet etc. therefore, Tackanory cannot be held liable for any damage your Horse or Pony may do to his new tack, rugs etc., however soon after purchase it may occur.

Sanctioned Refunds will normally be processed within 10 days however, Distance selling regulations allow for a period of 30 days to elapse between return and refund; refunds will only be made using the original payment method in line with prevailing Money Laundering Regulations.

Where a replacement is required we reserve the right to charge a nominal amount, of up to the value of the original post & packing charges on the order, to contribute towards the costs of post and packing of the replacement items sent. Any additional amount will be charged to the original method of payment without prior notification to the customer.

Tackanory accepts no liability to pay any monies to the customer by way of compensation, other than to refund the amount paid by you, for the goods in question.

Audio & video products and Riding Hats and Body Protectors, are specifically excluded from our returns policy. Such items will only be accepted for return if they are damaged in transit.

Damages must be notified within 24 hours of receipt by emailing returns@tackanory.co.uk and heading the email ‘Damaged Goods’ or by calling 01977 624 111 during office hours.

In the event that any item is returned to Tackanory in a manner not in line with this returns policy, the items/s will be returned to the customer without prior notification, and any additional costs incurred by Tackanory in doing so will be debited to the card used to make the original purchase.

Tackanory reserves the right to amend this returns policy under advice from Government appointed agencies.
